This picturesque quarter with its charming cobble stone streets is home to many fantastic sites such as the ruins of the Temple of Augustus, that once stood at the heart of this once ancient Roman city. See Picasso's frieze which frames the Architects' College of Catalonia, and step inside the beautiful Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona and enjoy stunning views of the quarter from its terrace.
After a break for lunch, continue your journey to the infamous Sagrada Familia – Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece.
