Slightly more than 1-hour ride from Barcelona you will find Platja de Sant Pol. This beach has a shallow water bay with crystal clear waters and fine sand. Platja de Sant Pol is perfectly suitable for families with children. It is safe to swim in the shallow bay plus there are play parks for kids nearby. The beach has a blue flag award which proves its greatness.
A bit further in the North is Platja de Fenals, a 700 m long beach with coarse sand. It has a blue flag as well and is the best place to relax. Platja de Fenals offers all the necessary facilities to ensure that you do not need to worry about anything.
Platja de Canyelles is another blue-flag-awarded beach that is worth your visit. The fascinating setting of pines and cliffs will make your leisure even more special. The 450 m length and 45 m width beach is a place where everyone can satisfy his or her own needs.
Even further to the North, you can find Cala Futadera, a little gem that represents the region of Costa Brava the best. Locals call it the 'cove of 300 steps.' Surrounded by cliffs and trees, Cala Futadera is a perfect place for sunbathing and swimming. Besides your wonderful time here, you will take many beautiful pictures.
You can stop at Platja El Golfet, a 5-starred rated beach in Costa Brava. During your time here you will feel a connection with nature despite being quite close to the city. You will not find many facilities there, just a shower, but the views of the cliffs are worth it.
There are so many beaches to visit in Costa Brava. Consider Platja de Tamariu or Cala Pedrosa too. At the end of your ride, your Welcomer will drop you off at your accommodation.
