Tour Overview

Early start around 6 AM. Paddle through Prague at sunrise on a small-group kayak tour. Glide beneath Charles Bridge, explore the Devil’s Channel, and enjoy Prague Castle views before the crowds arrive.

Start your day with a unique sunrise experience on the Vltava River and see Prague from a completely different perspective.

As the city slowly wakes up, you’ll paddle through calm waters with stunning views of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, free from the usual crowds. This peaceful time of day offers the most magical light and atmosphere.

Along the way, we’ll take you to hidden spots beneath Charles Bridge and into the narrow Devil's Canal sometimes also called Little Prague Venice places that most visitors never get to see. It’s a side of Prague that’s only accessible from the water.

This experience is designed to be relaxed and accessible for everyone, even if it’s your first time kayaking. If you feel tired at any point, your guide can assist with a tow rope so you can simply relax and enjoy the ride.

We’ll also make stops along the way to take photos, and your guide will capture moments from the tour so you can focus on the experience. Photos are included.

Perfect for couples, travellers, and anyone looking for something different, this is one of the most unique ways to explore Prague.

Your Itinerary

1

Arrival & Welcome

Meet your guide by the river and get ready for a peaceful start to your day. After a quick introduction, we’ll go through basic safety instructions and help you get comfortable with your kayak.

2

First Light of Sunrise under Art Nouveau Bridge

Paddle in the quiet early morning atmosphere and watch the first light appear above Prague’s skyline before sunrise, with the Vltava River almost completely empty and peaceful. Čechův most, considered one of Prague’s most beautiful bridges, known for its elegant Art Nouveau design, bronze statues, and stunning riverfront views in the soft morning light.

3

Views Towards Prague Castle

Continue paddling along the Vltava River towards Prague Castle and the historic Old Town skyline. Pass landmarks such as the Neo-Renaissance Rudolfinum concert hall, historic river baths, government buildings, and the Hanavský Pavilion overlooking the river. As you cross beneath Mánesův most, one of the most iconic views of Prague Castle gradually reveals itself ahead.

4

Charles Bridge – Golden Sunrise Over Prague (Photo stop)

Paddle beneath the legendary Charles Bridge while passing the remains of Judith Bridge, Prague’s first stone bridge from the 12th century. Along the river wall you’ll spot Bradáč, a historic flood marker once used to warn Prague residents of dangerous rising water levels. After weaving through the old mill waterways beside the bridge, you’ll return just as the sun rises above Prague’s rooftops, lighting up Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and the Old Town skyline in glowing golden colours — one of the most unforgettable moments of the tour and the perfect stop for photos.

5

Devil’s Channel (Čertovka) & Prague’s Water Spirit

Continue past historic riverside palaces before slowly paddling into the narrow and atmospheric Devil’s Channel, often called Prague Venice. Surrounded by old mills and medieval-style houses, this hidden waterway feels like stepping back in time. Here you’ll also spot the famous Vodník — the legendary Czech water spirit sitting beside the old mill wheel, watching over the canal.

6

Relaxed Return Along the Historic Riverfront

As the sun rises higher above Prague, the city begins to warm and come to life. Near Charles Bridge, your guide will share stories and historical insights about Prague’s river, bridges, and Old Town before you slowly paddle back along the Vltava River towards the original launch point at Beach Cihelna. At the end of the tour, guests receive their photos from the experience.
