If you have selected the optional summit access and tickets are available, you will then take the elevator from the second floor to the very top. What to Expect

1. Meeting Your Private Guide

Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time at: 3 Rue Buenos-Ayres, 75007 Paris Next to the Café

This small street is directly facing Entrance 1 of the Eiffel Tower. Your private guide will be waiting for you holding a blue sign that says “Epic Tours.”

Or choose the option with hotel pick-up.

2. Security Checks & Ticket Purchase

Your guide will accompany your private group through the first security check, then to the ticket line for the stairs.

Please note that stairs tickets are not pre-purchased and there is no reserved access. Waiting times can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on Eiffel Tower operations and visitor volume.

During the waiting time, your guide will begin the private experience by sharing the history of the Eiffel Tower, pointing out key monuments around you, and offering local recommendations for your stay in Paris.

3. Climbing the Stairs

You will climb 328 steps to reach the first floor, where you’ll take a short break. Restroom access is available on this level.

Then, you’ll continue climbing 342 additional steps to reach the second floor.

Throughout the climb, your private guide will stop at key viewpoints to explain the structure, share stories, and help you identify Paris landmarks.

Guests with summit access will take the elevator from the second floor to the top and can explore the summit before making their way down afterward.

Tickets for the stairs are not pre-purchased and there is no reserved access. Your private group will wait in line with the guide to purchase tickets, which can take between 30 minutes and 1 hour.

All participants must be present at the time of ticket purchase.

For guests who book the optional summit access, summit tickets are subject to availability and may be unavailable due to capacity limits, security restrictions, weather conditions, or technical issues. If the summit is closed at the time of ticket purchase, you will receive tickets to the second floor instead, along with a partial refund.
